How We Can Help

Ways We Use Botox

Wrinkles

Botox smooths out facial lines by relaxing the muscles causing them. Men and women often rely on it to soften dynamic wrinkles on the forehead, between the brows, and around the eyes, neck, and mouth.

TMJ

Botox is commonly used to treat TMJ or temporomandibular joint disorder. When injected into this joint, Botox temporarily paralyzes the muscles around the TMJ, which reduces tension in the joint and relieves symptoms like jaw pain, headaches, difficulty chewing, lockjaw, shoulder and neck pain, and teeth grinding.

Migraines

When Botox is injected into the pain fibers that cause headaches, it provides relief for migraine sufferers. This is because Botox enters the nerve endings and blocks the release of chemicals in pain transmission. This prevents the activation of pain networks in the brain, creating relief.

Excessive Sweating

The FDA also cleared Botox for treating excessive sweating. Botox turns off the targeted sweat glands, resulting in normal perspiration without wetness. Treatments are administered in-office with no special care needed after.
